ANNUAL GOLF DAY

The school hosts an annual Shaw Park Golf Day at the Royal Port Alfred Golf Club – a most successful effort – but never enough to satisfy our ever-increasing needs as an educational institution which receives little more than 4 teacher salaries from Government.

EQUIPMENT AND ENRICHMENT FOR EDUCATION

Library books, computers, playground equipment, furniture and a multitude of other very important educational resources are also high on our list of NEEDS.

DONOR SUPPORT FOR NEEDY AND DESERVING SCHOLARS

The school has always made an effort to secure funding for deserving children whose parents struggle to cover both the school and bus fees.

These are often families with more than one child, who choose to make the sacrifice to send their children out to us because they appreciate everything that Shaw Park has to offer. Local farm workers’ children are also high on our list of priorities as we make every effort to ensure that we play our part in seeking opportunities for all.

We welcome donors who may wish to contribute to this fund or choose to support a specific individual and make a personal commitment to support that child for a year at a time, or longer. The school supplies feedback on the sponsored child’s termly progress.

SHAW PARK COUNTRY CLUB’S SUPPORT FOR OUR SCHOOL

We work at the the Shaw Park Country Club Ox Braai and receive a generous donation from them. They generously allow us to use their amazing sporting facilities, for which we are extremely grateful.
